Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your only chance to create a positive impact on buyers from a street perspective. The good and bad features that jump out at buyers create their first thoughts about your house and how you keep up your home's regular maintenance.
Acknowledging this helps us to choose what measures we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with retouched paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your place seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Examining your home from a buyer's perspective, I'll advise you of adjustments that enhance sales appeal.
I'll tell you take away pieces that give the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be cleared off. Arts and crafts, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator drawings should get moved out of sight. We'll de-clutter your house. Unattractive or busy spaces make your home look smaller and buyers have a harder time seeing themselves living there.
Every room gets a once-over. Improvements that directly affect your sale price include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should get rearranged, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs to be replaced, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
We'll make sure your home has mass appeal and that it's welcoming, staying away from "offensive" or "can't-work-with" colors on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can think about renting furniture. The goal is for your house to look inviting as opposed to abandoned.

Setting the Stage
In every opportunity, we want to engage the buyer's senses. To counteract darkness is critical and we'll draw back curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and assure a delightful fragrance circulates from every area. We'll include cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your couch and bedding. Buyers should feel like your current house has the potential to be. |
